2B.GPS Trip - Kajang Satay

Last friday I was on leave, so feeling nothing to do and bored at home, I decided to ride somewhere for special lunch.

In my mind I always wanted to re-visit Kajang for their famous satay. Look at my map and they are just 300km away, not so far actually. So there it was I go...


It is actually very easy to go Kajang. U just have to travel along NSHW (E2) towards KL, then after Seremban, look out for the direction to Kajang, then that's it. Just follow Kajang. Even if u r blind, u wont get lost. And Kajang is a small town, once u get into the town, look out for the tall tall light poles at their stadium to lead u to this place - Sate Kajang Haji Samuri.

This is actually the most famous satay at Kajang. I heard that Kajang was famous cos of this, all originated from here.


It just next to stadium, u really cant miss them.

I ordered all their varieties of satay, got chick, beef, mutton, rabbit, and deer. Each I ordered only 5 sticks.


Their satay are very thick in meat. What I meant is, u one bite u can tell your mouth r full of meat, it is very full in feel. And, there's not much fat in stick so u wont feel yucky if u r health conscious. They also gave very generous serving of peanut sauce which I was quite enjoyed.

Actually I never really try the rabbit and deer satay before. So, this time, I found that rabbit actually very soft in texture, abit like chicken meat of 60% cooked well, so abit of raw meat rubberish texture too. For the deer I couldn't really tell what's the diff. Overall, I still like the chicky satay. Not so oily, meaty is just fine and overall the taste is okay.


I am still quite satisfy with my Kajang satay trip. It is worth the trip if u r one the satay fanatics. Even if u r not, the ride along NSHW with some music should be a nice ride for you.
